ITA Cosa succede quando due pazzi incontrano altri due pazzi ed una Guida Alpina? – Il delirio – si perché l’ultimo Armchair Project shooting é frutto di 5 menti deliranti pronte a divertirsi e sfidare la forza di gravità. Il 25 giugno A.D. 2011 Giulia ed Andrea (due delle cinque menti) nostri carissimi amici, si sposeranno e come regalo di nozze abbiamo pensato di farli tremare un po’ con un corso accelerato di fiducia nel prossimo ed in particolare in Davide, Guida Alpina ProRock.

In realtà l’idea nasce durante una cena dai nostri amici, fan del Armchair Project ed appassionati di arrampicata sportiva. Seduti a tavola, con un buon vino e dell’ottimo cuscus (in arabo magrebino kuskusu), mettere la nostra poltrona a 15 mt dal suolo, appoggiata su una delle vie della parete centrale del Muzzerone (Parco di Portovenere) sembrava difficile ma non quanto si é dimostrato. Sin dall’inizio non abbiamo messo in dubbio la necessità di chiedere aiuto al grande Davide, pensando però di cavarcela con un po’ di “tira su, abbassa a sx, alza a dx, molla” ecc.
Non é andata così…

Innanzitutto abbiamo dovuto studiare un sistema per mantenere la poltrona nella giusta posizione e ben appoggiata alla quasi verticale parete combattendo contro inevitabile “rollio & beccheggio”, quindi Davide ha attrezzato 2 vie (una per Giulia e la poltrona ed una per Andrea) oltre a quelle per noi fotografi. Poi, ma non da sottovalutare, le prove del caso, soprattutto per Andrea il quale, in stile incursori, ha indossato un’imbracatura speciale per potersi girare verso il basso. Cosa da non poco conto andando contro ogni istinto. Non a caso questi ragazzi sono diventati i nostri eroi indiscussi.

Tanti i curiosi arrivati al Muzzerone per scalare, poi rimasti a bocca aperta nel trovare un poltrona, una sposa ed uno sposo imbracati sulla parete.
Grazie alla professionalità di Davide ed al coraggio dei ragazzi, tutto é andato liscio come l’olio e dire che ci siamo divertiti é decisamente un “understatement”.

La pioggia ci ha lasciati noi due soli con la roccia, qualche parola scritta su un pezzo di carta ed un melograno…
Così siamo voluti tornare per fissare questo momento”

What happens when two crazy minds meet two other crazy minds and a mountain guide? Delirium! Yes because our latest Armchair Project shooting is the product of 5 delirious minds ready to have fun and dare gravity. On June 25th 2011 Giulia & Andrea (two of the five) our dear friends will get married and as a gift we decided to make them shiver a bit with an accelerated course on confience and in particular in Davide, ProRock mountain guide.
Actually the idea came during a dinner at our friends’ Armchair Project fans and passionate rock climbers. Sitting around the dining table, with a good wine and delicious cuscus, placing our armchair at about 15 mt. from the ground, on a face of Muzzerone (Park of Portovenere) seemed difficult but not as much as it turned out to be. Since the beginning we didn’t put in doubt the need for help from the great Davide, but we thought we’d get by with some “lift a bit, lower a touch etc.).
Not the case!
First of all we needed to figure out a way to keep the armchair in the right position on the almost vertical wall fighting against inevitable roll and pitch, then Davide needed to “arm” two climbing lines (one for Giulia and the armchair and one for Andrea) besides the ones for us photographers. Then, but not to underestimate, several tests, specially for Andrea who needed to face downwards in typical special corps style. Not an easy task fighting against every single instinct. Non the less these guys are now our super heroes.
Many, come to climb, remained speechless as they found an armchair, a bride & groom on the climbing wall.
Thanks to Davide’s professionalism, and the guys courage, everything went smooth and saying that we had lots of fun is an understatement.

“During a nice rainy day, exactly there, I asked Giulia if she wanted to follow me to the altar. The rain left us alone with the wall, some words written on a piece of paper and a pomegranate… We wanted to come back to set the moment”
